Availability Check

The first step is for you to get in touch and check if we have availability in our diary for your preferred wedding date. If we are available you can enjoy a Discovery Call where we can get to know each other better and arrange a date and time for you obligation free Design Consultation in Studio or via Zoom (Covid 19)

Wedding Meet N Greet

Before you sign on the dotted line, we offer a totally obligation free, no pressure Meet N Greet in our Studio (or via Zoom).

This is where we get to find out all the juicy details of your love story, your wedding day plans and the mood and feel you are wanting to create in your images.

We also pass on some valuable tips, tricks and advice to help you get the most out of your wedding day photographic experience and assistance with timelines for the day - so you can relax knowing all your expectations will not only be met - they will be exceeded.

Booking & Design Consultation

Your photographer and videographer will be the people who will be with you throughout your whole wedding day - so it's really important that you feel comfortable and confident that you are choosing the right people to trust your precious memories with.

Once you decide that West Coast Weddings is perfect for you, we can book your date into our diary and lock it in - we are all yours and this is one less thing to worry about in your planning.

We will also book in a Design Consultation where we will go over all the details for your wedding and start working with you on your shot lists, timelines and tips and tricks to help in your wedding day planning.

Wedding Planning

The lions share of the planning for your wedding coverage will already have be done as part of your Design Consultation - but along the way we will continue to work with you to create a bespoke Mood Board of the images you love and the feel you want for your wedding. We will work with your vendors on your behalf to ensure everything runs smoothly for your photography and video/audio coverage.

We can provide support along your journey - especially in relation to timelines and schedules for the day as you book in other suppliers and vendors and we are just a phone call away for answering any questions you have.

We scope out your venues and any portrait locations ahead of time to make sure we know where the best light is and have planned ahead so things are smooth on the day. We also attend any wedding rehearsal you may be having to ensure we know exactly where to be at the right time and for the best light and angles. We also give you some little tips and tricks for the ceremony to ensure that your images are absolutely amazing.

We check-in with you the week before to ensure all the details are still accurate - as we know sometimes things can change at the last minute.

We will be in contact with you on the morning of your wedding, again just double checking for any changes and to reassure you that we are all set and on our way for the most amazing day of your lives - that we are excited, honoured and privilege to be sharing with you!

Your Wedding Day!

This is the most exciting part! On the day we will arrive according to the Bespoke Design Plan for your wedding. Usually this starts at the Grooms home, followed by the Brides, any Reveals (eg Brides Father or the Couple themselves), departing for the ceremony, anticipation and details at the ceremony, arrival of the bride, ceremony (vows, rings, first kiss, signing etc), congratulations, family portraits, bridal party portraits (unlimited locations), reception details, entrance at reception, formalities (speeches, first dance, cutting the cake, garter/bouquet throwing), party-time, any requested guest portraits and sometimes the exit at the end of the evening - depending on your chosen coverage and collection.

Sneak Peeks & Online Gallery

We understand that you are anxious and excited to see your photos and video as soon as possible. That's why we work hard to send you some "Sneak Peaks" of your photos in a couple of days to share and enjoy along with your Wedding Trailer video as soon as we can - usually within a few days to a week.

Your Online Gallery & Highlight Video will take a bit longer, but will be so worth the wait! Your online gallery images can be shared with family and friends and you will get ALL these images optimised for social media on a Bespoke West Coast Weddings USB. But feel free to select your absolute must have favourites and note the numbers for your Album Design Consultation Appointment.

Album & Artwork Consultation

Please allow at least 3 hours for this appointment.

Unlike other Wedding Photographers, we do all the hard work for you! Because artistic design is one of the things we do best - we will surprise you by designing your ultimate perfect wedding album layouts that tell your entire wedding day story and showcase it for you ahead of your Album & Artwork Consultation Appointment - where we will also reveal your cinematic wedding highlights film. We invite you to celebrate with some bubbles and charcuterie board whilst you relax and enjoy the big reveal!

WARNING - Our job is to take the most amazing wedding day photos of you where you have never looked so good and capture those incredible moments in your family history - your job is to try to resist buying them ALL! This means we might design a much larger album (number of spreads) than in any of our Collections - because we want you to have the most choice of design layouts to select from and we will work together with you to make sure it's absolutely perfect for you and your budget. This is often the time people decide to upgrade their album to include more of those amazing spreads they can't resist and have to have!

Got your absolute favourite photo numbers from your online gallery but don't see them in the album? Don't worry if for some reason your favourites are missing, we can easily move things around to ensure you get exactly what you want, the way you want it!

If you want to order Wall Art or Artwork in addition to your album, this is the ideal time at this appointment, or if you prefer we can make a separate appointment specifically for it.

Please note any album upgrades or products ordered must be paid in full at the appointment.

Album & Artwork Collection

Hooray! This is always a wonderful occasion when our couples come to collect their beautiful heirloom Artwork.

Once your order has been placed it takes around 6 - 8 weeks to arrive. I personally unpack and quality check each item before contacting you to make a time and date for collection.

Once you have seen your Artwork I carefully repack it for you to safely transport home!

This is also when the final version of your wedding film, all your gallery images and the high resolution images from your wedding album will be given to you on a West Coast Weddings Crystal USB.

Your Wedding Day memories are now yours to relive every day and become heirlooms for generations to come!
