We absolutely love shooting at Buckland Estate, and the team there (Russell, Di and entourage) combined with the awesome staff of Confettii & Co (Sarah, Holly and Laura and all the girls!) put on another fabulous Wedding Open Day.
The sun was out and the excited couples were flocking force to check out this unique venue and of course all the talented and creative vendors exhibiting by invitation - so you know you can't go wrong when it's the best of the best there!
I won't be able to go through the whole list of all the hand chosen vendors who attended - so sorry for those I miss. To be honest there wasn't much "quiet" time to be had for me to get out and network with other vendors, but I did manage to catch up with some of the familiar faces along the way like Nikita from Nuptuals by Nikita, Eddie Lemos Couto Celebrant and his trusty side-kick "Chutney" the Schauzer. JustForKiks Photobooth owners, Greg and Janine and the gorgeous "Ollie" their PhotoBooth Caravan. Shhh, but I have it from a very reliable source that he is about to have a new caravan girlfriend!!! So stay tuned for that! It was also nice to catch up briefly with our industry pals, Jeff from Oikos Studios and Dennis from Dennis Tan Photography.
It's always great to see what there is on offer and Loui Col Designs had some exquisite bridal gowns on show in the main house.
The front of the house was adorned with arrangements and bouquets by Poppy's Flowers.
Vince from Very Nice Classic Cars was there with this timeless vehicle.
Furniture from Black Label Events and Harvest Hire Style were looking absolutely gorgeous on the lawns
Of course not to forget your morning heart starter with Arise Coffee and when the "hunger worms" started - Sultan Pepper were at the ready and Adrian (Ado) from The Little Cap Trailer was there to wash it down with your favourite beverage - on the house!
I also met for the first time the couple from Paw Walks Weddings which is a great service to be able to include your fur babies in your wedding, but also relax about it at the same time! I was gifted a tasty treat from the talented Suzi of Cakes by Suzi who never compromises on taste! DELICIOUS! Not to be forgotten, for the gluten free among us, I have discovered the superstar Stacey from Champagne and Gumboots (I soooo love that name!) who has Perth’s only Coeliac Australia Accredited cake boutique and patisserie in the picturesque Swan Valley and can even create gluten free wedding cakes - and no one would even know the difference!
